Well, what a weekend at Anomaly it was, the Summer Of Love festival has always been great every year and this year didn't disappoint. The great atmosphere and friendly crowd was backed up with some banging tunes. The main stage wasn't outside this year, which was a bit strange, but everyone still had a great time.
There were some banging sets by Rob Tissera, Jordan Suckley, Lostly, Sherrie Metcalfe and Allessandra Roncone and some quality sets from Edele Andaya, Danny Eaton and, of course, John 00 Fleming (despite the odd technical hitch). A big highlight for me was the first time seeing Thomas Bronzwaer, it was great having a whole set with his distinctive sound. The Future Heroes stage on Saturday gave an opportunity to see some up and coming DJs and I was really impressed by David Elder's set, hopefully we'll see more of him in the future.
We can also now welcome some of that enthusiastic crowd as new members of "Le Tour de Trance". It was great to meet you all and share in this great experience ?
And lastly, it has to be said, the final set from Nikki S was absolutely awesome, such great hard Psy-Trance was an epic way to end a great weekend. Giving it large at the front of the dance floor to that banging set, with some new friends, alongside the ultimate energetic dancing from Milly and the novelty of the legendary DJ Amber D joining us on the dance floor. This was a surreal experience that I will never forget, this is why Trance music can be the ultimate escapism ?
