Le Tour de Trance

Well, from the earliest moment at this event with Paul Skelton playing some amazing classics live on Piano the tone was set for the great vibe that reverberated throughout this whole event. The stage was set for some great sets from Alex M.O.R.P.H., Genix the TIDY DJs and the promoter James Dean. That combined with a great live set from Jan Johnston set up for the big names that finished Day 1 (Lisa Pin-Up, Andy Farley and Lucy Fur)... and if we thought that was good as we got into day 2 with Signum and more live music from Audrey Gallagher and then Indecent Noise steps up and blew me away with an amazing set. It was always going to be difficult for Simon Patterson to follow this but he was still good and followed by a great set from Rob Tissera and an energising ending from Mark E.G. What an amazing weekend of great music (although it's a shame that Andy Whitby's mash up style ruined the momentum towards the end of the weekend). What a great send off for the label that is XStatic.
